Please join the Evanston Chamber of Commerce on Friday, May 20, at PALMHOUSE for the annual Mayor’s State of the City Luncheon with Mayor Daniel Biss. This State of the City address will be the first given by Mayor Biss since being sworn in as Mayor of Evanston in May of 2021.

Prior to becoming the 22nd Mayor of Evanston, Daniel Biss served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 2011 to 2013 then in the Illinois Senate from 2013 to 2019. Before his political career he was Assistant Professor of Mathematics at University of Chicago. An Evanston resident since 2006, he is a native of Bloomington, IN, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in mathematics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Check-in for the event begins at 10:45 am and lunch will be served at 11:30 am. Tickets for this event can be purchased individually or in full tables of 10.
Registration will CLOSE on Wednesday, May 18, at Noon (if not filled to capacity sooner). Please reserve your space as soon as possible. Walk-ins will not be accommodated. The luncheon will be gluten free.
