Being an involved member of The Chamber means meeting, collaborating with, and learning from key business and community leaders in the Evanston community.

• Ambassadors: The Chamber ambassadors (membership) committee meets monthly to help with member care calls, anniversary/celebration recognitions and ribbon cuttings, and they serve as greeters at regular networking events and special community events including the State of the City luncheon. Promote your organization while making new contacts throughout the business community. FREE!

• Annual Meeting: Yearly event to recognize accomplishments of the past year, honor individuals in the business community and celebrate what’s ahead. Complete with great socializing with Evanston’s finest!

• Business After Hours (BAH): Evanston’s #1 monthly networking event! Hosted by different Chamber members each month, enjoy an evening of connecting with old friends and new contacts over great food and beverages. FREE!

• Chamber Golf Classic: Get business done on the fairway! Don’t miss this fun, casual event designed for you and your clients to enjoy lunch, 18 holes and a fantastic dinner at one of the North Shore’s finest courses.

• Lawyers, Guns & Money (LGM): An opportunity for local legal and financial professionals to interact with one another in a casual setting after work at chamber member establishments throughout Evanston on the first Wednesday of each month. Find your next business partner over free appetizers (2 drink minimum required).

• Mash Up: A networking event like none other held at the end of the summer on the beachfront of Northwestern University, this is a unique opportunity to collaborate with the business community, university and City of Evanston all in one place.

• Networking 101: Thirty minutes before the start of every Business After Hours (BAH), learn a new networking tip and put it into practice with Chamber staff, board members and ambassadors. FREE!

• Networking Breakfast (NWB): get your morning started with a high-energy meet & greet breakfast hosted by fellow Chamber members in the community. Held the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:45, expand your network before you even get to the office! FREE!

• Speed Networking: Held quarterly, this event allows you to meet fellow members, hand out promotional materials and give a “shameless plug” for your organization in record time! FREE!
