Here are some great ways to be involved with The Chamber and The Community:
  • Ambassadors: The Chamber ambassadors (membership) committee meets monthly to help with member care calls, anniversary/celebration recognitions and ribbon cuttings, and they serve as greeters at regular networking events and special community events including the State of the City luncheon. Promote
    your organization while making new contacts throughout the business
    community. FREE!
  • Advocacy in Action: Join the committee that meets monthly to provide and receive reports on city, county, state and federal issues impacting business. Committee members may also be involved in proposing positions for the Chamber, coordinating candidate forums, educating on election issues and more. FREE!
  • Partners in Education: New in 2012, this committee is designed to connect the business community with the public and private K-12 schools in Evanston. Members will help facilitate teacher appreciation efforts, regular discussions with school board and faculty members, education o!f school budget issues, and adopt-a-classroom activities. FREE!
  • Welcome NU: Also new in 2012, this committee will meet regularly to establish a welcome to all students and faculty of Northwestern University on behalf of the business community. Be the “open arms” of the Evanston community to our neighbors on campus while getting your business in front of thousands of NU Wildcats. FREE!
