EVANSTON,IL. (Aug. 25 2008)-- The Central St. Business Association announces Retail Therapy Night V-- its popular late night shopping event. Taking place on Thurs. Sept. 25th from 5-8pm , many shops on Central Street in north Evanston (just west of Green Bay Road at the 1900-2100 block of Central Street) will offer special sales, refreshments, in-store entertainment and a fall bounty of surprises to celebrate the beginning of a new season. There will be a gift basket raffle with items from all the participating businesses that evening as well. Refreshments and lots of other goodies will be available as you stroll, eat and shop along Central Street that evening.

LINZ AND VAIL, 2012 Central St. will be offering 1/2 price Nutella & Banana Croissants, sampling their new soup bar lineup, and giving out free small pumpkin spice latte certificates to the first 100 people.

LOIS & CO. --2014 Central St featuring Nancy Herzog’s colorful woven collection, one of a kind hats by Judy Loebbaka, and a beautiful new jewelry line by artist Peggy Kiddleson. Selected items will be discounted that evening.

MINDSCAPE ADORNMENTS, 2114 Central St. will feature Chicago jewelry designer, Asia Borycka of Fab Studios. She will be exhibiting her new fall collection of semi-precious stone jewelry. The evening will also feature Wilmette artist Pamela Paulsrud.. Pamela creates sculptures and touchstones from altered books. There will also be a" pick a discount" of up to 25 percent off that evening.

Stella offers a trunk show of the Fall collection of Sorrelli jewelry. Many pieces from the "Rosy Cheeks" and "Bedazzled" lines will be shown. Also new fall clothes featuring XCVI, Young Essence, Tulle and Hazel will be unveiled.
